A lady selling Handiya in Tribal Market of Ranchi by using rice and ranu tablets. It’s process takes 3 days in summers while 6 days in winters and also Adivasi people believe that drinking handiya cures jaundice.

Saliva handi mutton is famous for it’s slow cooked mutton in a handi (earthenware pot) on woodfire. It takes around 2 hr. to be fully cooked. They serve it with their huge laccha paratha and with rice also as per choice.
