Ingredients (Basic Viral Halwa Version)
- 1 cup suji (semolina)
- ¾ cup ghee (yes, lots of it!)
- ¾ cup sugar or jaggery
- 2½ cups hot water or milk
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder

Step-by-Step Recipe
1. Roast the suji and add hot milk

In a thick-bottomed pan, heat ghee and add suji. Roast on low flame till it turns golden brown and aromatic then add hot milk in it. Leave it for 20 min.
2. Heat ghee in a pan and add sugar

Take a pan, heat ghee, add sugar and mix well until it get’s caramelized.
3. Mix Suji in the caramelized mixture.

Now we’ll take the suji which we used in our 1st step and add it in the caramelized mixture which we made in 2nd step. Mix and cook well.
4. Flavor it And Top with love

Add cardamom powder/ saffron/ rose essence at this stage and Garnish with roasted nuts, silver vark, and rose petals. Serve hot.
